A prayer framework for parents raising children with disabilities.
Be Mighty in Prayer
When prayer feels heavy, confusing, or impossible, this framework gives you a place to start and a way to stay with God in the waiting.
What Is Be Mighty in Prayer?
The Be Mighty in Prayer framework guides parents raising children with disabilities in staying connected to God through hard seasons.
This framework is:
- A starting point when prayer feels impossible.
- Permission to be honest with God.
- A guide for praying in seasons of waiting.
- Designed specifically for parents raising children with disabilities.
The Framework:
B Be Honest with God
E Entrust Your Burden
M Make Your Request
I Immerse in His Presence
G Give Thanks
H Hold On In Faith
T Take Faithful Action
Y Yield to His Will
You Don’t Have to Be Strong to Be Mighty
Prayer doesn’t have to be perfect. Faith doesn’t have to be finished. You don’t need to have the right words.
You just have to start where you are.
Why Be Mighty in Prayer Exists
Be Mighty in Prayer was created by a Rev. Ash Dion, a mother raising an autistic child with a rare disease and disabilities who has navigated hospital stays, diagnoses, unanswered prayers, and long seasons of waiting. When prayer stopped feeling natural or safe, this framework was developed to help parents stay connected to God with honesty instead of pressure. It also equips pastors and church leaders to care well for families whose faith feels fragile.
